Joo had been working at a Michelin star restaurant for the past 17 years. After 7 years
of maintaining the Michelin star as Head Chef
at Galvin at Windows at the London Hilton Park Lane, Joo wanted to move to comfortable casual dining, with his Korean heritage roots.
His wealthy experience of French and European cooking is harmonised with subtle Korean flavours, delicious natural wines and craft beers. This is how our restaurant Cálong was established. Cálong (pronounced Kkal-long), means of trendy, hipster, stylish and cool from a City in Busan, South Korea. Now we are delighted to bring this new food trend into your neighbourhood.
